Most of you will remember the days when a ticket was stuck on the fridge as a memento or a player's new sticker was stuck in a scrapbook. We want to revive the core of this, collecting and swapping, in the digital space and offer fans an experience.

The first collection on AFLC Collectibles are 3D-animated player and legend cards. This means that the cards only exist online and are not physically available. The digital version of trading cards has several advantages:

Ownership of digital objects can be linked to specific perks, for example, vouchers from AFLC partners, tickets for matches or unique experiences such as a meeting with an AFLC legend.

We neither produce waste nor do we need large amounts of energy to create the cards, such as a "proof-of-work blockchain" like Bitcoin.

In the digital space, you can find an exchange partner for your cards more quickly.

All information about the cards is available and transparent at all times.

First and foremost, it should be fun and offer the opportunity to live out your enthusiasm for AFLC. Collecting and swapping is also rewarded. Each card comes with guaranteed perk with our partners that exceeds the purchase price of the card. The cards also give you the opportunity to win further special perks. These include, for example, meetings with legends or VIP match-worn products.

Player cards: Discover our current AFLC squad for the 23/24 season in a high-quality and cool 3D card design.

Legends cards: A digital monument to the players who have made a significant contribution to our successful club history. Owning them gives you exclusive perks.

AFLC 130th anniversary collector's coin: A limited edition collector's coin with a glamorous animated look, reserved for those who register within the first week. 20 legend cards will be raffled off among all collector coin holders.

First, you must register or log in. You can do this either with your existing AFLC Shop account, your Google account, or with your e-mail address. The player cards are primarily available by purchasing packs. These are available as single packs (€9.99), packs of three (€19.99), or packs of five (€29.99), and each contains a random selection of players.

The cards can also be purchased by swapping them with other users.

As soon as you have completed a line-up of eleven player cards (1 x goalkeeper, 4 x defenders, 4 x midfielders, 2 x strikers), you will have the opportunity to exchange this team for a legend card.

You can also purchase a selected AFLC legend in one of the legend packs or buy them from other users via the marketplace.

As soon as you receive the cards, you will automatically receive the associated perk. You can find these in your profile at https://web.dev.africa-legend.murdoch-partners.com/perks. These are divided into guaranteed perks and tickets for raffles. You can redeem the former and will receive an e-mail with further information and the voucher code if applicable. If you are successful in the raffle, we will notify you.

It is also possible to forward the perk to friends if you do not want to redeem it yourself.

For every player card, the community's score increases by one point. Each legend card adds 50 points to the score.

As soon as the points total reaches a certain number, new perks and raffles are unlocked that are linked to the possession of the cards. Collecting is worthwhile because the higher the score, the more valuable the perks.

Each card is limited to a certain number and is therefore a high-quality digital collector's item. With the help of used technology, the ownership of each card is clearly assigned, making your collector's item yours forever. The perks awarded via the community score are a reward for our loyal and active collectors. If the community's score does not increase, your card remains limited in its availability and retains a collector's value that is not linked to the perk.

The cards you use in a challenge cannot be traded or used in other challenges as long as the challenge is running. They are then labeled as part of a challenge and blocked for other activities such as trading or participating in additional challenges. After the challenge has been completed or by actively removing them from a challenge, they can be used for other purposes.

In principle, it's the same as if you buy a physical autograph card from the current season. The digital card continues to belong to you and remains part of your personal AFLC collection beyond the end of the season. You can continue to swap the cards with friends or other fans.

On the marketplace, you can see which cards are offered for exchange by other users. If you have the required cards, you can carry out the swap with just a few clicks. Your current card will be removed from your collection, and the new card will be added to your collection. The process can take a few minutes. If you want to offer a card yourself, you can simply create a new trade on the transfer market. If someone accepts your request, the exchange will be carried out automatically. We will send you an email to confirm.

This function is currently not available, as collecting and trading by AFLC fans is the main focus. We do not want to attract speculators.
